HOW TO BOOK OUR ACCOMODATION

As we have just a few rooms available, early booking is essential. On "Big Event" weekends, when more than 100,000 people can visit CARDIFF, accomodation is usually sold out weeks in advance.

Because we are located near a fast route to the Millenium Stadium, you are reassured of peace and quiet during your stay at "Brecon Lodge", whilst you are only a few minutes ride away by car, train or bus. Full details of Travel are on our special page.

 PLEASE KINDLY NOTE - Guests are invited to check in AFTER 5PM. as
the house is closed during the daytime. (other than by prior arrangement). We would also ask you to arrive no later than 10PM, for the consideration of our other guests.

ROOM RATES

Our very reasonable Rates start as low as £30 per person per night (pppn), in a Twin Room, according to Season and Date.

At times of special Sporting Events in Cardiff (e.g. Football Finals, Speedway, Rugby Internationals), prices will be a little higher, and a Minimum 2 Nights Stay may be required.

  1. Please contact us by email at: mailto:info@breconlodge.co.uk stating your requirements, the number of guests, and nights you wish to stay. We will offer you available rooms and quote a guaranteed price for your stay in Cardiff. We prefer to use e-mail, where possible, for bookings and queries, as this helps us keep down the cost of your accomodation. We aim to reply to all queries within 24 hours, at the outside. We check our mail at least twice daily.

  2. If, however, you do not have access to the Internet, you can simply call us on (029) 2070 2111 for immediate availability and reservations.

  3. During the Summer months, you can also call Penarth Tourist Information Centre on (029) 2070 8849, who will check availability with us, and take your booking.

  4. You can also request reservations through any Tourist Information Centre, or the Visit Wales website at www.visitwales.com where you can also pay by Credit Card.

  5. Special Breaks, which we call "Pricebusters", are available at certain times of the year, excluding "Big Match Weekends" and the "Summer Peak" period, normally July and August inclusive. These breaks are for two people for a minimum of a 2 nights stay, and can be booked between Sunday and Thursday nights weekly, or at Off-Peak Weekends.   6. You will kindly send us an agreed Deposit to reserve your room(s) within the following 48 hours. Unfortunately we cannot hold accomodation without a deposit, as this is a safeguard against "no show" guests. Confirmation from us by phone or e-mail will follow, should you wish. You can pay your Deposit by VISA or Mastercard Credit Card, or alternatively, up to £50 by using the Online Payment System provided by NOCHEX - just click on the relevant button below
