Italian Gardens, Seafront, Penarth
These attractive gardens are full of colourful species of flora suited to the sea. Each summer, the parks and roundabouts in Penarth are planted with thousands of colourful plants, hence the name "The Garden by the Sea"

Looking to the shore from Penarth Pier.
Opened in 1894, Penarth pier was damaged in 1947 when a former U.S. Liberty Ship hit the pier broadside on. Repaired shortly afterwards, the Pier is now in splendid shape; and admission is free.
Brecon Lodge, a delightful 1870s Victorian period home, overlooks Penarth's historic Pier, where ships and trim yachts pass by. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished in traditional style; guests enjoy our peaceful garden. Hearty Welsh Breakfasts start your day; fine restaurants open at night. Citybound buses run every 8 minutes to the Millenium Stadium.
Bed & Breakfast is provided in three rooms - Two Twins and a Double, all En-Suite or with Private Bathroom. Each room is individually furnished and carpeted, with full central heating, coffee and tea maker, colour TV and easy chairs, all having a pleasant view across the surrounding area.
Brecon Lodge is an unspoilt family residence, evocative of the period, where you will be treated as the personal guests of the proprietor. From the moment you walk through the front door, to waving goodbye, we will help you with your queries, provide you with local information and ensure that you return yet again to Brecon Lodge
